Time to ' Step OUT of the Boat ' !

For this Torah portion message from ' Pinchas ' (#41) I struggled with choosing an appropriate title.

I began with 'Fire in the Belly' , moved to 'Stand and Deliver' and several more. I settled on ... ' STEP OUT OF THE BOAT and into the

FULLNESS OF FAITH '.

For too long, the greater church has operated at lukewarm at best. That's Right, ..... I said it !  (and I will humbly accept part of that blame). 

Surely the ride is smooth aboard the 'USS COMPLACENCY', but when we look out at the world we've been called out of, doesn't it seem like we need to and 'should ' be doing MORE ?

It seems as though each days descent into moral decay is simply being accepted as the way of a new world, doesn't it ?

JOIN ME as I pray the words of Jude 1:3 and 'urge you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once and for all passed to God's people,' !
