As we count 7 Weeks of 7,

we are introspectively preparing

our Hearts and Souls for the

RUACH HA KODESH

( Holy Spirit )

Join the Messianic Jewish community in seven weeks of united prayer during the period of Sefirat ha-Omer, or Counting the Omer, based on Leviticus 23:15–16.

This is Week Three, with an emphasis on renewal in the Spirit within our congregations and communities, as modeled by the early Yeshua community in Jerusalem.

Day by day they continued with one mind, spending time at the Temple and breaking bread from house to house. They were sharing meals with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And every day the Lord was adding to their number those being saved. (Acts 2:46-47 TLV)

Our prayer campaign continues through the seven weeks between our deliverance from Egypt and our encounter with Adonai on Mt Sinai — the period from the resurrection of Messiah to the outpouring of the Spirit on Shavuot (Acts 2). The focus throughout is on spiritual renewal, starting with personal renewal and culminating in prayer for the promised renewal and restoration of the Jewish people, as foretold by the prophet Joel: "So, it will be afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh."

Counting the Omer culminates on Shavuot ! / Pentecost
