FEAST on The Feasts, ... to fill the 'emptiness' with the 'entire' TRUTH !!!

Shalom !  Shalom !

FEAST ON WHAT WAS , ... and WHAT WILL BE AGAIN !

Dear Pastor Bayliss,

While there are still a few more months before 2020 will be over, on the Hebrew calendar, 5780 is drawing to a close. We are talking about the Jewish New Year!

We are about to observe Rosh Hashanah, which literally means “head of the year.”

The festival is one of the seven Levitical holidays. It is appointed by God to be celebrated on the first day of the seventh month of the Jewish calendar, Tishrei. This corresponds to mid-September to early October.

The first day of Rosh Hashanah also begins a season of ten days of repentance, often called the Ten Days of Awe by Jewish people. The observance of the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) concludes these ten days.
Jewish tradition calls upon us to ask for forgiveness and to forgive others as vital parts of receiving God’s forgiveness at the conclusion of the ten-day period.

During the Ten Days of Awe, we will send you ten devotions, one for each day. These devotions were written by Dr. Mitch Glaser, president of Chosen People Ministries. Sign-up is required to receive the daily devotional.

These devotional thoughts will hopefully be a blessing to you and help sensitize you to what your Jewish family and friends are observing as well.

We will also present a passage or two from the Bible for you to meditate on and allow the Lord to speak to you through His Word during this important season of the year.

You can receive these daily devotionals by clicking the button below. We will provide text and emails for you to stay connected with us for all ten days!
